So, you're the person challenged to fix it, maybe just this one more time......It goes something like this, doesn't it?

"Please stretch the life of this (you name it....roof, window or window frame, door or door frame, wall board, fixture, concrete, black top...) and I promise, next budget season, I've got your back, pal. I promise.....a new (you name it again) is coming your way."

Right.

Well, doesn't matter what you're repairing or reviving, we've got the products you need.

Right, Paul? Dennis?

The Hidden Risks of Green Buildings

August 29, 2009

Author: Virgie and Paul

Fellow green product users....

What do you think of this article? It contains an interesting perspective on the sustainability and longevity of green buildings. Please read it and submit your comments.

One question that comes to our minds when we read the part about using innovative products and being concerned about their performance.........we are fortunate that we lack performance issues with our innovative products. Quite the to contrary, our products are not only innovative, but are are known for their superior performance.

Please respond with your thoughts. We would enjoy reading them.

Thanks!

Virgie and Paul

Recycling

March 8, 2009

Author: Virgie

As much as we all want to recycle, sometimes we get in our own way. For example, pizza boxes can not go into our cardboard recycle bin, I suspect because it isn't clean and dry cardboard. And what about our McDonald's cups? I am a Diet Pop addict, and usually get one a day from McDonald's because it's located so closely to my office. If I buy the large size, it comes in plastic. But if I buy anything smaller, it's a plastic coated paper cup, and I'm not sure how that gets recycled. Same for the paper cup for my coffee in the morning. Sure, you could ask me why I don't make my coffee at home or buy a 2 liter of pop and bring it to work with me, but, I'm not the only person buying drinks from McDonald's, so it's worth exploring our options. I rinse out my plastic cups and take them home to recycle. I called our waste removal providers and found out that it might not be possible to get a residential type recycle pick up at a business. How can we recycle these products that we all use everyday?

Yahoo is Green!!!

Author: Virgie

Yahoo is Green

You'd expect Google to be first with some cutting edge green site but it looks as though Yahoo beat them to the punch...and like Yahoo, Chem Link was one of the first to be "on the scene with green" before being green was a twinkle in Corporate America's eye.

How Green Can Green Get? Yahoo does attract an enormous amount of web traffic every day? What can each of us do to make a difference, and more importantly, how can we influence the rest of Corporate America to Get Green! Contact Yahoo, and even Google, and tell them to Get Green! And contact your Congresspersons!
